IT COULD HAPPEN TO YOU

A memoir by Bruce Dobish

Some lives read like fiction. This one isn’t.

It Could Happen To You is the debut memoir of Bruce Dobish, a fast moving, unflinching chronology of a life fully lived, stretching from the streets of Manhattan through the World Trade Center disasters, high stakes gambling forays, murder, sex, drugs, and rock and roll.

Told with a survivor’s candor and an unexpected streak of dark humor, this is not a story of a passive hero. It’s the story of a man who kept moving through everything New York, and life, threw at him, and lived to tell it.

Haunting. Literary. Comical. And every word of it true.
